Custom tool

One tool for money across two countries.

We built Tally to run our own money across New Zealand and Australia. These screenshots come from a separate demo with made-up data.

Tally has a native front end connected to a private server you run at home or with a hosting provider. You can reach the same ledger from anywhere through a native app, starting with the Mac.

Bank feeds in one ledger

Transactions from several banks and providers land in one ledger, each still tagged with its account.

Cash flow by editable category

Income and spending by category, with categories you name and change yourself.

Transfers ready to review

Money moved between your own accounts is matched for you. Confirm real transfers so they stay out of income and spending, and reject wrong suggestions.

Works with your AI agent

An AI agent can already read and update the ledger through Tally's locked API from the command line. We are building an MCP server so assistants can connect directly. The ledger lives on your server, and the agent only reaches it through the API, with a key you control.
